From Donald Trump, to Kim Davis to the NRA, 2015 was full of meme-able moments
An Internet meme (/ˈmiːm/ MEEM) is an activity, concept, catchphrase or piece of media which spreads, often as mimicry, from person to person via the Internet.
Memes are to social media what editorial cartoons used to be to newspapers. When done honestly, it can offer humor, opinions, facts and encouraging words. They are useful tools for spreading important information (and misinformation), not to mention helping to build your brand. It is no wonder you can’t scroll down an inch on Facebook without seeing one.
Quiet Mike wasn’t as active in the meme department as it has been in the past, but that doesn’t mean we’re sitting on our ass, we just pick our battles more carefully. We had our first meme go viral this year and it brought with it a whole lot of haters, insults and even death threats.
Yes, we will be doing them more often…
2015, as you will see in our year in review next week, was full of meme worthy moments, particularly when it came to calling out the follies of the Republican Party and the NRA. When you have Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, and Kim Davis living in the same country, there is never a shortage of material. But I digress.
I would like to thank all the Quiet Mike supporters out there, particularly on Social Media. If it weren’t for all of you boys and girls sharing our articles and memes throughout the years, we would only be a fraction of what we are today. We do appreciate the effort.
So here they are, Quiet Mike’s best memes of 2015. There isn’t much, but like I said, this year we preferred quality of quantity. These memes were all created by Chad R. MacDonald and Mike Weishar.
